Support That Meets Young People Where They Are — Literally
Some young people find it hard to open up in a traditional therapy room. That’s why we offer something different:
Walking therapy, outdoor sessions in the park, and the warm, calming presence of Bonnie — our friendly therapy dog.
Our approach is grounded in pluralistic counselling, meaning we tailor each session to what works best for your child or teen. Whether that’s sitting, walking, talking, playing, or being quietly supported by a gentle Cocker Spaniel — we’re here to meet them where they’re at.
🐾 Meet Bonnie – Therapy Dog & Cocker Spaniel Companion

Bonnie is a sweet-natured Cocker Spaniel who loves people and gently senses when someone needs comfort. She’s calm, affectionate, and trained to be a supportive presence in therapy sessions.
Whether sitting quietly next to a young person, playing gently in the park, or simply offering a distraction during tough conversations, Bonnie helps children and teens feel more relaxed, open, and safe.
“Sometimes, a soft paw or a gentle nuzzle says more than words ever could.”
Participation with Bonnie is always optional and guided by your child’s preferences and comfort.
🌿 Therapy That Moves
Walking Therapy
For some young people, side-by-side conversations feel less intense than face-to-face in a room. Walking therapy allows space to breathe, think, and talk more freely.
Therapy in the Park
Outdoor sessions can ease anxiety and lift mood. We meet in calm, natural settings where young people can feel more at ease.
Indoor Sessions
For those who prefer a quiet, private space indoors, our counselling rooms are warm, relaxed, and youth-friendly.
🎯 A Flexible, Pluralistic Approach
We draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, depending on each young person’s needs:
- Person-Centred Therapy – A safe, non-judgmental space where they feel seen and respected.
- ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) – Helping them build resilience and act on what matters.
- CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) – Practical tools to manage anxiety, mood, and unhelpful thinking.
- Existential Therapy – Supporting big questions around identity, purpose, and meaning.
Therapy isn’t about forcing a method—it’s about finding what fits.
